Sometimes you fail

Yesterday I tried to make a dish I never made before. James has grown watermelon, and it was delicious. I had a lot of it, as James rarely eats fruit, unless there is chocolate involved! So, I found a recipe for watermelon pudding. Yes, seriously, to be served with whipped cream and pistachios. Sounded light and interesting. I spent the time to make it, but I guess I didn't have the cornstarch ratio correct and it never 'puddinged' up. The flavor was very good. It had sugar, watermelon, vanilla bean paste and lemon. I think I would try to make it again, but alas, I failed.
